This is the first automotive repair app aimed at getting your (OBD-II) diagnosis and repair needs out to shops, in return for cost estimates. The cost estimates are performed by local repair shops, so your diagnosis goes to the actual repair facility who would work on your car. You get back price quotes directly from them on your app. The RepairLync automotive repair app is also free - there is no cost to use it, and no cost is charged for either you or the shop performing the repairs.

How it works - if you have the Mojio product, you will simply need to login to RepairLync with your Mojio account and it will automatically read your vehicle information and diagnostic codes. It's that simple.

If you do not have Mojio, you can use an inexpensive Bluetooth OBD-II reader to connect your phone to your vehicle's diagnosis system (https://shop.repairlync.com/About/Index?page=compatibility has a list of OBD-II compatible devices - before purchasing, be sure to check our map screenshot of partner locations, which is growing every week).

Or, if you know what repairs your vehicle needs, you can select them from a pre-defined list, and your vehicle can be of any make/model. You then send this information to local shops. The shops evaluate your needs, or your check engine light diagnosis. They give you an estimate on repair costs - so you can not only shop for price, but find the best facility based on ratings and reviews. If your OBD-II diagnosis is too vague or symptoms are too difficult to troubleshoot remotely, shops can message you for more details through the app or give you a physical inspection estimate. You can customize notifications for these messages. Best of all, there is no obligation to accept the quote from local shops. So if you can't afford the price estimate, you can always message the repair shop or decline the quote. Please note that this app is NOT for urgent repair needs. Repair shops have to evaluate the work needed, and will try to get a response quickly, but can take up to a few business days.

You can also use the RepairLync automotive repair app to search for repair facilities near you. You can also give reviews to your local shops.
